Well it has been quite a year!!  It started out with me being quite pregnant and still very deteremined to do the horse thing.  I was still showing Blossom in some driving classes right up until the last month of my pregnancy.  Finally on May 9 I gave birth to miss Samantha.  So far she is a great baby and has gone to every show with me.  I am trying really hard to imprint her on horses!!  I think she has expensive taste because she really perked up at the shows when she saw the 6 up hitches go by :)

I think this was definately one of Blossom's best shows!!  Blossom and I were lucky enough to have Emma Wass as our Junior Driver this year...and boy did Emma do a great job handling her.

International Draft, Mule, and Pleasure Driving Show
Well it was another fun and eventful show up in Pamona.  The classes were all very full and we were happy to get a ribbon in every class!!  It was also a total shock but Blossom won High Point Draft Horse for the show!!!  What an honor.....we never would have won it though if Emma hadn't shown her in all of the Junior classes....so Thank You Emma. 
For the first time the show had added 2 Gypsy classes....Halter and driving.  I was lucky enough to get to show Giatana...Frank and Georgi Greiner's Gypsy mare from Ramona.  She was an absolute dream at the show....what a good girl...and to think she is only 2 and half yrs old!!!  I can't wait to see how she does next year!!!!

Year End Awards
Normally I try and make to all or most of the Saddle and Harness Shows throughout the year...but between my pregnancy, giving birth, and the San Diego Fires we just didn't seem to make it to too many of their shows this year.  Somehow though Blossom and I still won Reserve Champion in a few things.....the great thing though was we were beat out by my student Grace Halpin!!!  Grace had a wonderful show season with her horse Heaven Sent Murphy...a Clydesdale...Grace even won the perpetual High Point Jr Driver Trophy...way to go Grace!!!
