Julie Picot Horse Training
Blossom
Blossom is a 5 yr old Belgian mare. We used her in our Carriage Business...Springtime Carriages..and we also compete with her in Driving Shows throughout Southern California. When we first got Blossom she was very pregnant and not even halter broke. She proved to be a mother to Windy and a very steady horse to ride and drive. We currently just competed in the Ventura County Fair Draft Horse Show. I am happy to say that we did great!!! Blossom won the Single Cart Pleasure Type class, and the Bareback Riding class. We also won a second place in Double Jeopardy, and 4th in Gamblers Choice. Blossom also did very well in the Junior Driving classes with Emma Wass showing her.

Windy
Windy was born Memorial Day Weekend 2005. She is a Spotted Draft with lot's of personality!! As a 2 yr old but she already getting ponied out on trail rides, going to horse shows and hung out at the trailer...she had even been to the L.A. County Fair and got to enjoy nightly fireworks with her Mother..Blossom. Windy has a great mind and has started to learn to drive and ride.

Iron Eagle
Iron Eagle is a 10 yr old Registered Tennessee Walking Horse. He is awesome out on the trail....we joke that he might be part goat...there aren't too many hills that he hasn't made it up.

Prince
Prince is our newest addition...he is a 6 yr old Azteca Gelding. He was purchased as a second horse for my husband....but I am hoping that he'll let me ride him soon. Prince does the Spanish Walk, Piaffe, and Passage.

Oklahoma Francis
Francis is an 11 yr old, 15 hand Mule extradanor!!! There's not much that Francis doesn't do. He goes Western, English, Dressage, Trail and does kids camps. I'll often be asked...'why a mule??" The benefit to having a mule is that they are really smart and they have self preservation in mind. Francis was the only Equine that I owned that I would ride while I was pregnant...if that isn't a good endorsement for a mule...then I don't know what is!!!

Suzy Q
Suzy is a very endearing pony....she has literally been to hell and back. My students and I rescued her in 2005....she had just had a baby and was being fed bread and lettuce...no hay!!! I really didn't think she would survive the 10 minute trailer ride to my students house. She surprised everyone and she did more than survive....she thrived!!! We found homes for her baby and the other 2 ponies that were rescued with her. I knew Suzy had to stay with me....she had been through too much ever get passed around.....plus I knew she would make a great pony for our future children. She has really turned out to be a wonderful pony for Samantha....Samantha may even try and do some leadline classes with Suzy this yr!!!

Diego
Diego is a 10 year old Iberian Warmblood. John purchased him for me for Valentine's Day of 2009...I was pregnant at the time and John had to do the test ride for me. I knew that he would be just my horse when John could hardly keep the horse from heading back to the barn. He has proved to a very willing horse that is eager to learn. He shows a lot of talent for the jumping and the dressage arena.

Shiloh
Shiloh is our lesson horse extraordinare!!! He does it all.....dressage, jumping, trail, western and beginner riding lessons.
